11th October 2009 Windsurfing: levington Wind Direction: west Wind Stength: F3-4 Surf / Sea State: flat Air Temperature: 70 Sea Temperature: warm Weather: good Max Speed: 21knts (knots - unless stated otherwise) Distance Covered: 20 mins (Nautical Miles - unless stated otherwise) Met Alice today and she is a very nice surf chick...u know the type sails 85 litre boards...big sail 5.5M does helicopter tacks to turn to winward...mmm..ok..respect Wind was too light today unfortunately west kicking F4 when I arrive with a few kiters and Maker, Pete and Alice tide sailable from about 2 and maker blasted off on 8.5M and I was crapping myself that the RS 9.8 SL was going to rip my arms off. Alas (or is it Alice)? Maker had 20 min before we joined him and then the wind god said best try sunday mate.. OK..chat..till tide and then adious Lev ...glorius day..steamer was fHot See u guys and surf chick sunday same time same place.. |
